i know vpusher suddenly sprouted a vagina and "gave up
beer" but i had two amazingly good beers last night...one
from england and one from scotland...

the english was "winter warmer" - fuck me it was good...wish
i had consumed it warm though...would have been better

and the scottish one was "thistle ipa" purple label...i
forget anything else about it - holy shit...damn near the
best ipa me ever had !!!

i cant wait to leave work and drink the maine beers i have
in my apartment waiting for me...

YAY BEER !

And post about it on the Internet messageboard.

I can't abide ales, bitters, real beer etc. I'm pure lager,
give me gaseous chemicals the colour of piss.

if you can get ahold of them, try the long trail beers,
which are brewed in vermont (and seeing as how you got maine
beers...).

long trail double bag stands as of of my top three or four
beers of all time.

magic hat is also a great localish beer, dunno how far its
grasp reaches. try the #9.

#9 is old hat to me my friend - i have a magic hat pint
glass i got from the brewery

long trail ale (GO TAKE A HIKE!) is pretty goddamn shhhweet
- i love the double bag, their blackberry wheat, and the
hibernator...fycking sweet beers

im from maine so getting maine things is pretty
painless...yaheard?

good tips though - anyone not from new england should for
sure check these beers out

and you know what i want more than life is some
redhook...redhook and raw oysters...YUMMMMMMMM

ahahahha!

Lets see. The bar was always pitchers of miller unless i
went to a bar for specifially non-miller and wanted taste.
Bennos on 74th. 31 beers you have never heard of on tap.
Expensive though but man oh man there were some good ones.

Two Brothers IPA stands out.
Black Earth (a stout that was more or less a meal)
Some mad hatter nonsense. It was fair.

other wise it was
1.miller pitchers (2 for 1 at paulies)
2. Bicardi and Cokes (extra bicardi extra lime)
3. Jim
4. Rum..... any kind will do.
5. Bloody Marys (always before 2pm)

I just went 1 week sober and i havent done that in over a
decade if you could the drug and alcohol abuse. yay me

eewwwwwwwwww massholes...bad drivin motherfuckers...

my brother moved to utah recently and had a "maineiacs"
bumper sticker (i know it sounds fucking stupid but its the
fleet of jet re-fuelers my uncle flies in for the military)
- ANYWAY some dude asked him if thats what they called
mainers...my brother said yes...

what do you call people from mass? - the guy asked

"massholes" my brother replied

what about people from vermont - he so inquired

"hippies" said my brother

hahah - good laugh - new england is sweet !

well the culture of the us is actually cyclical, maine is so
far north that it wraps around and becomes the deepest of
the deep south.

I like Miller 'cause it's like drinking lemonade, easy to
down and doesn't really give me a hangover.
Carlsberg Export is probs my favorite though.
Guinness is nice in moderation, I don't mind Boddingtons,
but it's very weak. IPA is nice, quite easy to get in
England, too.
