i'd like to do a cover of "i can't wait." very hypnotic and catchy, but i can't stand those eighties' synths. probably vocoder the vocals too.
if you're playing this comp, though, i think i'll keep hitching til another car comes along...

10. Ginuwine- Pony
I had to chuckle at this. I picture junior high dances with preteens awkwardly trying to dance and the smell of "coolwater" Cologne sweeping the atmosphere.

Might have been me, I posted a zip of really fruity 60s pop. Do you remember any songs on it?
Anyway, that's a cool comp, Prince would have to be on mine as well.
1- The Beatles- Martha My Dear 2- Orchestral Manouevres in the Dark- Souvenir 3- Prince- I Would Die 4 U 4- Moon- Lebanon 5- Sea Ray- Sister Gone 6- The Lucksmiths- Myopic Friends 7- The Smiths- Cemetery Gates 8- The Beach Boys- Don't Worry Baby 9- The Free Design- Umbrellas 10- Allen Toussaint- On Your Way Down 11- Kitchens of Distinction- 4 Men 12- Orange Juice- Three Cheers for our Side 13- Al Kooper- Camille 14- Michael Jackson- Off the Wall 15- Homelife- Harder
I made a mix CD a month or so ago and it looked a lot like this, it did me good.
