I'm currently in the highlands of Scotland visiting my sister and her husband for xmas. They live in the village of Spean Bridge, a small rural town surrounded by mountains and lochs. The scenery is absolutely spectacular, i've not seen anything as beautiful as this in ages, I'm completely blown away. They live in this romantic little cottage, heated mostly by a little fireplace. Just awesome. From what I've seen of this country so far has been magnificent, with the exception of glasgow, which must be the dirtiest city on this island. The people are super friendly, you meet someone new and within minutes they're basically telling you their whole life story and inviting you over for xmas dinner. |
