What animal will be on your plate this Yuletide?

With Christmas fast upon us, I am having quite a bit of
difficulty in deciding what animal to have adorning my fine
china plates and as yet have bought nothing. I realise when
I pop down to Waitrose they will be out of stock of
everything, but I ask nonetheless;

What animal will be on your plate this Yuletide?

Turkey (traditional, but can be very dry)
Duck (succulent yet with very little meat per bird)
Goose (good all rounder, though quite boney)
Dodo (out of stock - permanently)
Chicken (the Colonel Sander's choice. Cheap)

and what of the vegatarians among us?

interesting. Do you mean lamb?

I presumed the Welsh farmers weren't particularly willing to
sell them at Christmas time because it gets rather lonely
there.

ah okay.

I might drive down one of these country lanes out in Sussex
and see what I run over. Rabbits, Hares and Pheasants are
all rather pleasant.

as long as half of my plate is piled with lovely, juicy,
succulent, amazing LEEKS i'll be happy.

but not if the other half of the plate has something
horrible on it that'll affect my leeks, like paint, or shit.

I have an elephant's leg ornament in my living room.

I'm sure it would taste great for Xmas in a cauldron of
soup!
