does anyone here actually work out?

I decided that i need to start up again. I've been a lazy
cunnie over the past years. I used to be quite athletic back
in the day. I am far too young to let my body to get out of
shape.

I've brought myself up to a weight that i am comfortable
with as i wanted something to work with.

i was talking to this girl and she informed me on how she
used to do 1000 crunches a day.

I figured that this could be a good start so i embarked on
this journey today.

Does anyone here actually try and keep fit? I was wondering
if any of you had a plan that worked especially well.

i usually ride my bike, or rollerblade for exercise
purposes.

this past summer i decided i was going to go more into it
and try and get in good shape, but then i got in a car
accident and broke my collarbone and was stuck sitting
around for most of the summer. then the cold weather came
and i guess i'll wait til next summer.

funny thing. i just took an online phys ed class at
community college and there were all these labs which
sometimes included exercises and such we were supposed to do
each week. well, i just lied about all of them and got an A
in the class. i never even opened the book aside from
rushing through it to find the answers during the timed
tests we had. this was the first dishonest thing i did in my
entire educational career.

basically a few hours of exercise a week and a lower calorie
diet will keep you fit (or help one slowly lose weight)

My diet is frieghtenly horrendous. LOL

Dont get me wrong i am not a fattie or anything but i rarely
if ever eat healthy. This will be something i will be
working on. Hopefully finding some fruits that i like and
such (i am open for suggestions)

My arms are tiny. Which I used to like but i figured that if
I start now i will be in better shape down the road. I would
like to add some muscle and definition to my body.

I am 5'10 (or 11) and 197 lbs. Alot of that is beer so
obviously that is a bit of a tummy. Thats where the 1000
crunches per day come in. I also found some light weights
that i can work on reps. So i figured after a series of
crunches that i can work with free weights. But i am limited
as my arms are smaller.

Its a good start. I think diet modification, exercise and
going to straightedge will benefit me overall.

Again if anyone has dietary suggestions i am open.

I joined the gym. Went for a bit but it bored me to tears so
I stopped going. I couldn't bring myself to go.

I decided to try and wank to lose weight.

i try to use this machine at least once a week. for me it's
the ideal exercise: if used correctly you're training more
than 80% of your muscles (legs/ass, stomach/back and
shoulders/arms), and it's great for your condition as well.
highly recommended

it doesn't give you oversized pecs with which to crush
things with arms outstretched, therefore it is insufficient

i am ashamed of myself for my physical condition
i think i could get to a comfortable shape just running
and eating right, starting with fruits and vegetables.

oversized specs are overrated anyways.
apart from that, i disagree.

here, take a minute to look at some typical/"non-oversized,
but properly sized instead" rowing-specs:

you need to run for at least 1:30 hours/approx. 5 1/2 miles
to 6 miles, 4 times a week, if you want to see improvement.
you could presumably see HUGE results within 1 month.

your lungs and cardio is what counts... plus you'll feel
better and get better sleep.

There is a tredmill at my location. A buddy of mine has
somethings but i am too intimidated too work with him. He
has slacked lately but had an ideal physical condition.
Perhaps that would push me harder

quoth: yeah my buddy just came back from iraq. I am thinking
that perhaps i can work with him a bit. But hes already back
onto drinking and smoking so we will see how keen he is on
the idea.

thatne: runners can be in great shape. I have smoked for
many many years. So i am hoping to start walking/jogging in
spring and then perhaps running in the early morning in
summer (as its not as hot)

Cardio is key and i virtually know nothing lol

is cumbersomely large pecs

Never, except when I have to shovel. And I get winded pretty
fast while shoveling, which is pathetic. My diet is equally
pathetic.

I'm kind of ''in shape'' in some respects, though. I'm a
really fast runner, I've got agility, very decent strength,
I look great naked, but my cardiovascular/aerobic fitness is
just plain BAD.

in my years here this is the first thread like this i have
ever seen.

Quoth: yeah duration is the key i have heard. So it matter
if i break somewhere in the middle.... like a half way
point?

i also heard that running late at night is helpful to your
body to break up something that clogs arterys or something.
Like it can only happen at night or something.

i ride bikes everywhere...never drive or ride anywhere...eat
tons of vegetables and generally eat healthy food and rarely
eat bad stuff (junk or whatever)

i lift free weights to keep in shape cause my job requires
heavy lifting daily...umm...i need to start doing situps
again which i will start after the holiday...the blue ribbon
has made a slight blue ribbon around my waist...but nothing
that really concerns me

i was hammered friday night and ate carrots...most would get
pizza / cheesesteaks...something unhealthy...not me really

im about two steps away from being a vegetarian cause it
makes me feel healthier !

Riding a bike for more than 30 minutes a week greatly
increases the risk of infertility in males.
