It's been a rather crap year for music in general, Simon Reynolds (bigshot music geek author/journo) went as far to say the "worst ever". I'd have to go with Jackson's "Smash" in terms of electronic music. Daft Punk's new album grew on me too. |

well, smash is great, but i think i like ark's (guillaume berroyer) 'caliente' even more. it's much in the same vein which isn't a surprise since they're both from the same scene.infact im writing a review in caliente at this very moment and listening to music..one of better dance records i've heard in quite a while! |

smash is a bit more full of everything than caliente, which seems a bit simpler album on the first listen..but full of excellent ideas, and well, great to MOVE TO :) mastah, is you serious? most of the decent albums released this year are on that list i think. |
