Oh why is there a favourite topics limit of 50? I mean, really, why not make it unlimited. Please. For the love of god. the limit only serves to render the service useless, with all the "spring-cleaning" it necessitates. Seriously. At least for premium members, could you not make it unlimited, Phobia? |

it's probably something with the mysql-database.. for each user, I'm guessing you need a separate table for favorite topics (or something like that), so having an unlimited amount of favorites would make the strain on the server larger and the mysql database itself would also be potentially infinitely larger... however, if you're looking for an answer from phobs, naming the topic "why" isn't a good strategy... |

well, if that's the case, then it's an incredibly stupid db setup. one field, one list of message IDs seperated by commas, parse the list, whammo. |
