just pasting part of the content of a mail i'm sending to
my new swedish gf i met in lima ;)

"we climbed that high dune again in the late afternoon to
see the sunrise on the desert (which we missed by so few) on
our way up we met another swedish girl. damien wasn't
feeling very well so he went back down to the hotel and i
stayed up there with Sarah and a peruvian guy, they danced
salsa on the top edge of the dune! it was very special.
after that each
one went back to their hotel apart from me :) i stayed up
there for hours, walking in the huge dunes, getting almost
lost at night with the sole light of the moon, it was magic.
i layed down in the sand for a long time, eyes closed
listening to some weird music coming from the desert,
sounded like a strange ceremony with voices and bells and
handclaps. each time i oppened my eyes i couldn't believe
them, always the same picture but always incredible,
impossible to get used to it. it was so hard to come back, i
wanted to sleep there but i thought damien would worry (i
was wrong) and i didn't have my sleeping bag and the night
was getting cold.

today we shared the colectivo with the swedish girls, Sarah
+ Helen, we were 7 in a car to drive from huacachina to
nasca, us four on the back seat. the road through the desert
was beautiful and the car too (a very old destroyed red
ford)."

it's great you're exploring those parts of the world, my
family is originally from Bolivia and I recall visiting
Machupichu when I was very young. A truly amazing
experience.


and now for the unnecessary cliche..
it got me into electronic music.
