New Autechre please

this might be the fifth post i've made concerning my urge
for new Autechre since i became a member, but i feel that at
this point in time, it is most relevant. can we at least see
an EP in the next few months?

any moderators know what Autechre is up to these days? :)

i'm right behind you magicant.... prolly ahead of you. im
ready for the next wave of tracks but still jamming to the
2005 stuff (untilted + glasgow)

anyone who knows when and what though certainly couldn't
tell you anything

i actually just imagined what if sean and rob quit putting
out music. itd suck pretty hard, and id actually have to get
into other bands

as far as what theyre up to nowadays, theyve just played a
show in japan last week. and unless you were in japan last
week i guess that information is useless.

i'm probably not as excited as you are in new autechre...
apart from that, i'm not excited about anything in general
right now since i'm half asleep at fucking work.

I'm not going to post in this thread for fear of people
telegraphing what I am going to say...

there are two æ3hæ-whatever releases... the first one is
from 2003, and quite unlike your usual Autechre actually.
but it's pretty good if you happen to like this kind of
things. haven't heard the second one.

and - be patient please!
what would it be if you were Nine Inch Nails fans, Tool
fans... or fans of a dead band?

offline nacmat on 2005-12-05 06:08 [#01793810]

about the patience....

they just released an album this year... so I cant
understand why people is already waiting

offline uzim on 2005-12-05 06:13 [#01793811]

actually i think now i prefer the first æ³o & h³æ
release to most Autechre (Autechre fans probably won't,
though). haven't heard anything else by mister Hafler
Trio... maybe i would have if he wouldn't be so bitchy
against sound samples to know what it sounds like (he sounds
like an antipathetic guy). um, i could just go and download
some on Soulseek... or try and buy one at random to test my
luck (but it's not like i had lots and lots of money and
nothing else to buy)... or search or make a thread about it.
yes, i think i'll rather do that.

of course, a comic genius. no human, living or dead, could
handle a plunger with such raw, physical comedic effect as
jim varney. and when he would get electrocuted, it was like
the light of the sun shining beams of laughter right over
his audience! a golden shower, if you will, of delight.
