SPRIGGAN also, fucking unbelievably dynamic movie. awesome action, punch-you-in-the-gut hardcore fighting. hardcore like gescom beats the main char stabs this dudes stomach open, then jumps into a fucking jeep unloading a 50mm into his enemy (1 single huge guy), then crashes the jeep and starts kicking the shit out of him.... |

i don't reccomend the ghost in the shell TV series to people who liked the movie a lot. it has no ties to the movie stories, and the major charactersm save for Togusa act totally different... there's no chunky axioms within the story or dialogue.. and its just very very plain... i reccomend it to people who generally enjoy sci-fi based anime ,and not stuff with heavy philosophy |

the last time was a full screen and dub-only vhs transfer put out by fox. it's one of the most disgusting dvds i've ever seen, second only to lost highway (in terms of transfer quality, not content quality). so yeah, this is going to make a lot of people very happy. |

oh, I never look at which group has subbed it before I download... I mostly wouldn't know anyway, as the files only have names like "pani poni dash 04.avi" I've started quite a few new ones just to check them out.. I don't know what they really are like, though... neo ranga looked cool from some description somewhere, but I'm not sure.. only got the first two episodes, and they don't tell me shit.. except for that it maybe has some kind of underlying humour that could keep me downloading it, but we'll see... a friend started downloading bleach, and it seems ok, but only seen the first episode there yet. Started Gilgamesh.. only seen one episode, but it seems interesting. King of Bandits Jing.. only on second episode, and it seems like it could pan out to be a very repetitive show. checked out bakuretsu tenshi.. I feel nothing about it one way or the other. those are all rather "serious" shows, though.. except for bleach, maybe.. I haven't found many new funny ones... hopefully that stuff from the flcl people will be good, and also I hope nabeshin hasn't run out of ideas.. seems like he could keep quite a few of them in his afro... |

I skimmed the first episodes of gilgamesh and bleach, wasn't too excited.. then again, I'm a cunt. There's an entire target demographic (unfortunately super prevalent) which makes my skin crawl.. yeah.. so yeah, hopefully something next season. There are usually rumbilngs three weeks in advance, so expect something soon. It's always impossible to predict quality, since most people just want tits/testosterone.. that's synonymous with anime for most people, blah. ok I have to sleep, class in a few hours.
