I am listening to this now. This album is a masterpiece. I
had it on cassette when I was a kid and listened to it until
it wore out!!!

Ah yes... the album that started my path to manhood.... and
drinking.

I cant listen to any metallica anymore, I just overdid it
when I was a kid, but their old stuff is good for anyone who
hasn't heard it yet.

And Justice for All was the last Metallica album that I got
into. It's no where as good as Master of Puppets.

I am now listening to Ride the Lightning

Awesome album, my 2nd favorite by them, next to AJFA. I
seriously love every Metallica album except St. Anger. Even
Load and Reload are totally awesome and toadally
misunderstood.

When i first heard Master of Puppets it totally changed
everything for me. I looked at metal differently. It was a
good time musically.

I took it to school one day and my home economics class
(SEWING!!!) listened to it. That was rad, I was sewing some
googly eyes onto a sock puppet named Ralph while listening
ot Damage Inc. Oh my God the memories.

this album is 19 years old, and still sounds intense!!, good
stuff. I bought it 11 years ago, and I was lucky to bought
the cd with a long cardboard case with the cover printed on
it, do you remember those?, I still have the cardboard in my
room, I'll rip it now using Exact Audio Copy because my cd
has 2 small skips. I look at eBay all the time for the
remastered cd gold editions of Master and Lightning, but
always got outbid

old met is simply awesome
i was never into metal (just metallica and megadeath, if
those count?)

but metallica drums + guitar melodies
as ive said before
those crazy drums and guitar melodies/solos PUT ME RIGHT ON
TRACK heading towards electronic music

I loved this song and metallica in 5th grade. I havent heard
it in atleast 10 years. I would download it, except that im
afriad of downloading any metalica whatsoever for obvious
reasons.

this thread reminds me of how much metalica used to rock
prior to Load. So sad. :(

I always preferred Justice. Most of this album is
unlistenable now, apart from the first two tracks and Orion.
The production is shocking, even by Metallica's standards. I
would like a banana milkshake.
