but there is one person even more awful and that's his
fucking side-kick. what a waste of space.

why would Letterman piss her off?

these talkshows never create controversy, they only exist to
make both the guest and the host look good.

that's just what i was thinking, there's absolutely no
interview, just flattery and back-patting, no matter how
undeserving the celebrity is of their celebrity and fame.

the proof that it won't be a real, critical interview is the
fact that Oprah has agreed to do it.

this is not a woman known for taking chances or allowing
introspection beyond "I've really lost a lot of weight" or
"I really like this Chanel bag".

david letterman used to be funny, many years ago... jay
leno was never funny and is a cunt. and i don't watch any
tv anymore and i don't care.

I used to quite like Conan when they showed it overhere.

it was dumb but didn't try to hide that fact.

I would like to get The Daily Show here - it's not that
different to other talkshows, but the bit called "This Week
In God" with Stephen Colbert makes me laugh like a prat.

letterman has some decent musical guests sometimes. a few
funny segments as well. i've seen him act like an asshole
towards a few guests, but i guess it's mostly about the
dandy back-patting that's already been discussed.

i remember tom green had some bizarre show before where he
had a few friends sit around. one guy was called "Phil" and
just drank coffee from a mug and laughed sporadically. it
was really retarded, but still managed to be hilarious.

i wasn't being sarcastic, i really think that verb manages
to be hilarious. i know that's not funny, btw.

nevertheless, a break for you:

boomboom tcheh, boomtche boom tcheh!
boomboom tcheh, boomtche boom tcheh!
boomboom tcheh, boomtche boom tcheh!
boomboom tcheh, boomtche boom tcheh!

It's all about the daily show anyway

yeah, i used to watch conan religiously about five years
ago. i watched the daily show since it's first host, craig
kilborn (anyone else?). the problem is that both jon
stewart and conan have very specific shticks that they do
over and over and it gets very old.

steven colbert's new show the Colbert Report, which is an
equally silly/subtle pisstake on the O'Reilly Factor, is
rather funny, as i've caught it a few times recently.

The Daily Show could be so much more fierce. some of the
bits are kind of, but it would be nice if Jon Stewart
actually was.

I did hear/see trailers of the Colbert Report - I should
download a few episodes. he's just excellent in This Week In
God.

for example - the O'Reilly interview was tame and wholly
uneventful. what a letdown. sadface.

I'm in agreement with you Arf, I've downloaded a couple of
Colbert Reports and they are very funny.

they are funnier than The Daily Show. there. I said it. it's
out in the open now. I'm not taken anything back. DEAL WITH
IT.
