i was not a member, what kind of organization is it?

i am however interested in dream interpretation and wrote a
paper about it whilst in college. i've only read freud and
jung's theories about dreams and dream intrepretation. =0)

It's was an experimental art kinda oritanted board run by
Josh Davis the PRAYSTATION.COM guy...

Was pretty underground - ie. invite only, & you had to read
the source code of the page to actually get in...

Some great Art came from the board - a lot of the new Flash
people etc...

Anyways, my mistake...just the name seemed somehow
familiar...

has anyone experimented with lucid dreaming , the ability to
alter the way your dreams map out, it gives you power to
control what and who you dream about. it works , kind of

Yea loads, started getting into it when I discovered what
was happening when my radio alarm wasn’t quite waking me
up. When I fully awakened I realised id been dreaming about
the radio topics and news headlines 'n' shit, very cool.

I now experiment with all kinds of music before and during
sleep.

Discussed this topic over a year ago on dreamless.org, weird
how its been brought up.

lucid dreaming seems to be a really popular topic w/ people
on this message board...

since ive come there have been several topics just about it,
and its been mentioned many more times in other topics..

interesting.. i can lucid dream sometimes.. and sometimes i
try to experiment a bit, but nothing serious

can anyone recommend any good reading (on the net) to
introduce u to it?

i've heard of mapping. while i don't do it on purpose. i
find that things that have happed during the day, sometimes
a few days ago appear in my dreams.

dreams and dream intrepretation is fascinating =)

I think anyone who could go into this state by conscoius
will would do so. What a greater trip than a directed
dream?! I done a few times, but never on purpose. I'd love
to master it sometime.

I know this has been brought up, but I must plug the film
Waking Life. If you are a human being alive in this moment
you have no excuse to avoid this movie. That is all there
needs to be said about it. Go see it when it hits the
stores (if it hasn't already).

btw, does anybody go throuhg waves of strange dreams, or
waves of nightmares? I do this quite often. Recently I've
been having incredibly strange dreams.

jand: is it true there's a praystation message board you can
only get to looking at the source code?

Yeah... was an attempt to keep the whole thing underground -
keeping the actual entry in the HTML source code was a
pretty cool device to keep out people who shouldn't be
there...

ALAS, DREAMLESS is dead - a few of the design portals linked
directly to threads in the Board and so anyone could get in
and things went rapidly downhill...

Fucking good crowd on there....some of the web design rock
stars, journalists and few famous artists & writers...

Good whilst it lasted...and Josh Davis was/is a great
guy...

hehehe.....interesting proposition.

a would imagine, (i have no direct experience with this so
it's just and opinion) like a drug trip....ehehhe

that might eliminate drugs.....ack =0)

whoa, good point, LeCoeur. we wouldn't need acid! i don't do
drugs, so i probably don't have enough evidence to back the
theory :þ

heheh......i think we hit 'something on the NOSEY' here!!

i would encourage you to keep a dream journal.....keep it
next to your bed so if you wake and remember something
vivid....you can SCRIBBLE something down and fall back
asleep. when you get up and read what you wrote in the
morning......you'll see how what you thought was a fully
realized story that made sense whilst your dreamt is a bunch
a weird stuff CRASHING together. it's fun and interesting!!
=0)

speaking of dreams, it's about my bedtime and fatigue is
governing me. perhaps i will make some observations on my
dreams tonite and hopefully i can recall them in the
morning.
Good Night everyone!
