- ummm, I really like the cool sounds before the melody
comes in in Vi Scose Poise...

- In Pen Expers, how the melody ALMOST overtakes the
beats... but not quite...

- The whole of Slip

the very first minute of Yeesland, when the beat goes
like.... ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh, yeah, yeah... uh...uh...
yeah... oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah!!!
then around 1:06... oh yeah... more... more... noch einmal!

but then it goes a bit dull tho. :D

oh, and i also love the way melve develops into vose in.

I. The first couple minutes of "Dael"

II. When the robotic vocals first appear on "Keynell 1"
around the three minute mark.

III. When the scratching starts on "902 Quarter" around the
two and a half minute mark.

very pretty.

Gantz Graf, just when the climax strikes in at 2:44

Corc at 3:31 where the already perfect beat becomes just a
bit louder and the song more complete
and at the end at 5:10 where the song goes into the
afterplay

it's funny to see how personal Autechre/IDM can be, thanks
to this topic I hear things I didn't heard before

I also discovered a very pleasant melody far away in the
depths of acroyear halfway the song untill the end, I heard
that melody after about 20 listenings, it's difficult to
describe, even if you hear the song and tell what the sound
is, I had this with a friend of mine, but it is there :)

favorite moment is..
..when the new album is announced.

yes yes, I am a legion of cheesinessssss.

I think no one mentioned the slow down in teartear.. also
I'm surprised no one ever mentions 444 (it was mentioned
just once in this thread I believe)--great track.

at the moment in draft, the place where xylin room breaks
down with a hiss, the percussion stumbles and chimes ring
thru

and the death throes of surripere where the percussion goes
'dam cha-chah badam cha-chah badam cha-chah' with all the
swung out kicks going on :)

Looking at the way their albums have slowed down, I wouldn't
be surprised if a new album isn't released until 2006.

remember, I said it

@ sneakattack

ye man surripere has a damn spooky opening and later on at
3:56 mark when the metalic beats come shy...awww love it
also Tri Repetae Track 02 / Clipper --> fuckin beat and the
melancholy of the track.

actually there are too many good Ae tracks to narrow the
best moment in one,imo.

The way gantz graf starts off very quietly and then hits you
with a wall of sound just after you've turned your speakers
up

The first time gantz graf gets all fucked up, at the 1:06
mark.

And once more in gantz graf, when it hits the super phat
bass at 1:35. In the video, the object goes almost
completely flat at that point and it fits the music so well
:D

The part of netlon sentinel where the random noises form a
warning just in time for the song to explode. (0:22)
The whole first section reminds me of a big spinning tornado
of sound. Every now and then some sound will escape and come
right at you.

When cute little reniform puls gets into a fucking train
wreck with the second beat that comes in.

The weird wood wind sounds in Surripere at exactly 6:46,
7:13 and 7:22
I wish they had done more with that sound.

All of MCR Quarter

The slightly different notes used in VI Scose Poise at 4:14

Foil (!!!!)

Under BOAC from 2:50 onward. Most notably around 3:10 when
the drumming gets quicker and more complicated. Sick.

- 2:48 into "Vose In" when the pads cut out leaving the beat
and the squelchy bass

- the second half of "Yulquen"

- in "Recury" ... the first 2 minutes its like some demented
pop song, it grooves, then it gets a little old

- all of "P.I.O.B (mix 2)

- the resonant synth sweeps in "Puch"

- when "Stop Look Listen" breaks down into dementia :D

- the beats that kick into "Two Of" (gescom)

- 2:03 to 2:30 of "Cfern"

- towards the end of "Parhelic Triangle" when that beautiful
melody starts peeking its head out through the clouds

- 3:30 to 3:40 of "Xylin Room"

- 0:32 - 0:42 of "Iv vv iv vv vii"

- all of "Tapr"

- 0:56 into "Theme of sudden roundabout" that squelch...

- first half of "Vl al 5"

- "Track 5" in the coachella live set

i'd like to add that I love the structure of Pro Raadi and
the sound of the beat in it, and especially the moment near
the end when it gets totally deconstructed - a moment of
pure 3 dimension.

I like the harmony a lot. and the rhythms are nice.
everything is nice, for short.

i think i prefer the final, chaotic part. when i heard
Confield the first few times - i thought that ending of the
album was the end of the electronic music at all.

but obviously i was wrong.

when the sneaky alien beats start belch/breathing around the
rhythm in uviol.

at the end of iv vv iv vv vii with the two final beatacular
explosions pulsating within the rippling high tone, waiting
to disperse all over the place.

when the squelches in theme of sudden roundabout start
catching up with eachother and developing a futuristic
melody.

2:00 - 2:05 - latent quarter

2:10 of doctrine, right when the synth comes in omg

and 1993 - 2006 of autechre. right in there. omg.

there is that live track which i do not dig in the end. for

the point at which i started thinking that autechre was more
than just music was reniform puls,

i was like, this song is perfect, there is nothing wrong
with it, but it even exceeds that

the second point i thought autechre was more than just music
was the 2005 stuff, the last track, that fucking chord that
comes in, jesus christ, its like, what the hell, and then
the hardest beats i have ever heard in my life, its just
overload. perfection exceeded yeah i hate to be all mushy
smushy but for me the music can exceed perfection at times,
and often does

the bassline in the 2005 shit, the LCC remix, thats the
meanest fucking thing ive ever heard., there is nothing more
mean sounding than that. fucking evil and awesome, fucking
arachnid beats and terror bass

reniform puls though, i do not even understand how good it
is, and to them its just another track probably. thats just,
what the hell, COME ON. its ridiclous
