The Google ad is currently advertising Duran Duran, for
some reason, and it has inspired me to create a thread about
Duran Duran.

Duran Duran is pretty cool. Rio is a pretty good album.

That was my thread about Duran Duran.

for more then a week every few years or so."

Watch the video for Rio, it's the most 80s thing ever.

Their first album and Rio are quite good, but then they went
downhill.

I even like their last biggish hit, reach up for the
sunshine, put your hands into the big sky... I admit the
lyrics are vile, but... good band, still.

Arcadia though, top 5 of my BEST BANDS of the 80s, were one
bothered.

i love the pop trance version by 56k. there's also a great
cover version of ordinary world by aurora much in the same
vein. though i must warn you if you are easily offended,
give them a miss! :)
