Are you a bin man?

I wouldn't worry (about your personal safety) too much- it's
more likely that he is allergic to whatever bit him, rather
than it is something exotic that bit him.

You do occassionally get some insects from hotter climes,
usually near pipes/underground where it's artificially
hot/humid. I saw the largest spiders I've ever seen in the
wild when taking up those black foam squares you get at kids
playgrounds. My brother got a nasty bite from a big spider
he found in the crawlspace near a hot water pipe.

I suppose those 2 anecdotes somewhat cancel out any
re-assurance my first claim might of given. Ho hum. Hope
your colleague is okay.
