I'm giving away my Squarepusher @ Koko tickets....

I have two tickets for SquarePusher/Luke Vibert this
Thursday 17th Nov 2005 at Koko, Camden, London.

I can no longer go, and I cant be bothered to arse about
trying to sell them, so I am going to GIVE THE TICKETS AWAY
in the interests of peace and love between XLT and
WATMM1/2/3

If you want the tickets, please write a poem about peace and
respect between the XLT and WATMM communities, and post it
in this thread.

At 7PM GMT today (Monday) I will pick a winner and post in
this thread. Then if the winner emails their postal address
to me at zen10k(at)yahoo.co.uk then I will mail them the
tickets by first class post tonight. (So there should be
enough time for them to reach you).

This is not a joke. I'm giving these tickets away. And what
have you got to lose anyway? So please practice your emo
poetry writing skillz here.

This is my serious attempt at the competition as I'd really
like the tickets!

There was a techie named Phobiazero
Who created a website - the hero
It's better than sex
But not better than Joyrex
Because his site is equally premier - oh!

Although I realise that my limerick-writing skills are
fairly abysmal ;)

I'm not sure if we're allowed multiple entries, but this is
quite fun - so here's another:

There were two net messageboards
And at first – out came the swords!
But by breaking the ice
Things became very nice
Up and up they both soared

How about:

The eagle circling high and wide
The crocodile eating more and more
The music of the land qivering and masquerading as the bear
on roller skates!
The shark that casts the stone of justice.

Llllalllalllallllal muuuuu went the yarn!
ggioiiiosass went the boomerang!
Yes?
NO!!!!!! for it was the chettah in all its glory that won
the day for PEACE!!!
Finallyy that bitch of a Dove was defeated!

Hurrah for XLT and WATMM!

square-push-er with all the different
drum-and-base
we enter forums,
big-upping his beard-y face
music make-ers
or the x.l.t
we don't care
we all live in ex-stascy
squarepush-er.....

there was a phobiazero,
and he had a site,
he looked like robert de niro.

joyrex existed,
his leg was a twisted,
his day was not so bright.

so both got together,
like an old piece of leather,
and united! freedom for all!

i'm from down under
so - hell, even if i won
it'd be a terrible blunder
me getting there would be non.

i'd expect a plane ticket
some scones, and a cup of tea
and i'd probably watch the cricket
and fly back over the sea.

watmm is on the internets
xltronic, too, as well
this thread really makes me wets
and if you swear i'll tell.

So the tickets go to manicminer, who posted two strong
entries, of which I think the second is the winner : )

Honourable mentions to Keyfumbler for his lyric
re-structuring.
And Xeron for 'the crocodile eating more and more'

Manicminer please email your postal address to
zen10k@yahoo.co.uk
And I will put the tickets in the post tonight.
