well here at the board i ve seen people from north and
centre america, most of western europe, artic europe too
(new concept hehe) rusia, and well many other
places...australia, new zealand... i know i am misssing a
lot but this is not the point... well i understand people
from certain places (were there are lots of other problems
so they are not likely to spend some time at an internet
board) not being here... but havent seen any japaneese
around...i am sure they have no problem with english ( i
mean...if an spanish speaks english...then anybody can) and
they have aphex there...so how come non of them came around
to visit us??
maybe this is an useless topic, but i just wondered

Perhaps the internet laws over in Japan are really crazy and
they cannot view or post on MB's....only their own from
their own country......

Or maybe I am just an idiot.....

Yep, I seldom see anyone from ASIA posting at all... on any
of MBs I visit...

The only people who do post from Japan are a couple of USers
working out there...and this isn't on this board, mainly
people in the web design/flash/art field...

Think it's probably a language thing - English isn't such a
common language in the far east and as they no doubt have a
lot of MBs there - they probably stick to homegrown
stuff...

A pity as one of favourite things about the Net is the
international flavour...

i think, there is in fact a language-problem. i know some
japanese people who speak english - but, apperently it's
still exceptional.

but i wonder if the japanes are into braindance?!

cylob used to dj there - and made afterwards "mood bells"
;-)

Asia sank into the ocean, didn't you hear? That sucks, I'll
miss the Japanese video games and psychotic hentai porn.

i think 2 or 3 people from spain.. the same with italy and
france...ok not much but still some... what about non from
north africa, or turquia ... well i understand that these
countries with such a different culture dont care about IDM
but japan is so occidentalish...and they have japaneese
releases for aphex there...not here in spain

Richard is pretty known in Japan and the techno culture has
been there for so many years, so there should be SOMEONE
from Japan... It's just a question of time.

I love almost everything about Japan! I really wish there
were some people from Japan here.

I really like Ken Ishi and Towa Tei but my fave Japanese
artist is Denki Groove! Oh yeah and I also really like Boom
Boom Satellites. Lots of great music from Japan.

automator aka dan nakamura is japanese
and dj q-bert
i am half japanese but i grew up here in the USA. i
actually got a lot of shit from the asian community for
being a "half-breed" and also for not speaking japanese.
strangely enough, the people who gave me shit were korean,
not japanese.
