I was listening to his album: i was young and i needed the money. It's great. Any of you guys heard it? |

yeah, it's nice. i think he pays homage to squarepusher a lot on that album. he clearly uses the tequila fish melody, and "come on my selector" and "squarepusher theme" can be heard somewhere in there. i tired of it after a while. |

I think of it as more an extension rather than a rip off. It kind of pay more homage to jazz fusion rather than squarepusher. |

yeah, i don't think of it as rip-off (though that was my first impression). but, how can using squarepusher's melody be a homage to jazz fusion, unless squarepusher didn't write that melody in the first place. |

don't be sorry. it's in there, go listen to tequila fish on big loada, and then listen to track 11 or 12 on "i was young"...i'll check later and report back to you the exact track number and name. it's uncanny. |

the track i was thinking of is "Earth vs Me" which is track 9. it has this come on my selector type intro then it goes into a melody which is strikingly similar to the one played in tequila fish. |
