Out of curiosity...

i noticed that it said 10/30/05 as release. What makes them
decide on a later release date for digital files when
samples are up currently? Because couldnt they be
technically be available today? I was just wondering

I'm sure they technically could. but the cd is released that
date, so it seems kind of logical for the digital download
to be available on the same day.

Ah ok!

I was thinking that perhaps getting a high quality digital
file before getting a CD could be a incentive to some. Kind
of like japanese releases having that extra track

so who is going to test the cd to see if it's been
remastered? not that warp would source it from mp3s or
anything

I subjected it to spectral analysis and, to be fair, I don't
know what I'm looking at. Though it doesn't appear to cut
off at one level like what an mp3 does, so I'm saying
legit.

Yeah, I didn't remember looped guitars in the original HABs,
I just put that down to my bad memory though.

hmmm.... might be interesting, but I will of course
pitchshift HAB 2 to it's proper speed... (45 rpm is
ridicolous!)

But then again - is there going to be any real differnce in
sound compared to the 12" - I mean, the production and
equing on these tracks are so lo-fi so I'm not shure if it's
going to sound any better on CD...?
