I usually start doing something, then a few beers later I am asleep in bed. [adult swim] helps me stay awake.

truth. if I sleep in the middle of the day I loose all track of time.. I'll wake up and think it's the next day. I'm also pretty disoriented for the rest of the day (as opposed to..?).
I can only remember three times I've slept in the middle of the day, and I don't think I've done it on too many other occasions... it's pure fuckery.

I sleep during the daytime almost every day. Sometimes more than once, like on Saturdays when there's nothing else to do. I love it. Hitting the snooze bar for hours on end at 9 minute intervals.. it's like chapter breaks in a huge, epic dream.

sleeping off a drunk in the afternoon then getting up, and before you can figure out if your not groggy starting drinking again
you cant tell if your groggy, drunk from before, or getting really drunk since you just awoke
THAT is annoying

I slept Sunday afternoon but I had these weird dreams where Brigid had some books and heroin and a big blue crystal but didn't really like me as a boyfriend which made me sad.

I don't like the day-sleep grogginess, but it does feel good to take short naps of a few minutes when there's nothing to do. Might not be for everyone, but I think it's healthy.
That said, a perfect day would include being up before the sun, I feel late for the rest of the day when it beats me to the punch.

I like it. That way, I can stay conserve energy so I can stay up all night indulging myself in pointless things and not feel guilty about it... I mean, it's the middle of the night, what ELSE is there to do?
