...and by that, i mean songs of 2 minutes or less in duration. I appreciate short songs because they don't take long to appreciate, and because they go well at the end of a mixtape when you only have a wee bit of tape left, a swift conclusion. here's some of mine:
They Might Be Giants - "Spider" They Might Be Giants - "Robot Parade" Pixies - "Oh My Golly" (not counting the talking at the end)
Primus - "Pilcher's Squad" GWAR - "Ham on the Bone" (it's a bit over, but close enough)

there's actually one of my own songs that I enjoy that's short... Pointy nipples. this is not primarily spam, I've spammed the song on its own before, it's just the only song that springs to mind...

They Might Be Giants... why is it that they're universally reviled, is it because they're really good?

TMBG are EXTREMELY good! i guess they still get crap because they have done a lot of commercial work with their music, but hey, you have to make a living at some point. plus, john linnell has kids so i'm sure he does not mind feeding them. I LOVE TMBG.
oh another song for the list: Squarepusher - "Ruin" and "C-Town Smash"

I quite like "Gros Nichons Nemix" by Fabien Porée. It is good but maybe the lyrics are mixed too much in the background and the music is a bit like Michael Jackson but it's not so bad i guess.
