i got a letter back with a more detailed police report. I am
going to be in the first offenders program evidently and
have to go to court again.

It just never ends.

I talked to a milwaukee cop and explained what happened and
she was perplexed. She said that they would have either just
let me go or ticketed me. Since i offered to take the ticket
right out.

Then again milwaukee has a crazy number of homicides this
year (close to or over 100) and i doubt dane county see any
real crime.

I got a public attorney and he went to my oct 6 trial. I am
forced to go to the next one though.

Did you prepare a statement saying you regret your actions
and will pay, blah blah blah?

These work really well to reduce your punishment and to show
the judge that you see the error in judgement and enforce
the fact that you wont do it again.

I'll probably do that on the spot. That way i can act it and
it will have more emotion and be more real. I am pretty good
at that. Plus i honestly do regret this.

Before this i havent been into any trouble since 2003. I was
all proud. Oh well lesson learned.

Sometimes you cant get out of a jam as fast as you want to.
This has been one long process. I mean its a broken window.
