Just picked this up (together with campfire headphase
vinyl), and I'm listening to it now.. only on the first song
yet, but I can say that I'm not disappointed...

I'm sorry that I am unable to produce samples, but if you
like the other Kim H. work (except "For the ladies," which isn't
like any of his other work), this is a recommendation!

no, it's a two-song 12"

one song to each side.

i'll check it out then! is it as good as his other stuff?
those two songs seem quite long..

I'm on the second track now. yeah, it's pretty good..
hopefully the album they're from will be as good.

they are long, but they manage to stay varied in the kim h
way.

I could try to record some short samples for you, but they
wouldn't be of good quality as I don't have very good cables
going from the mixer to the pc...

though, short samples wouldn't really give you a good image
of how the songs are...

very long indeed ! :)

and what happens in those tracks ? can you describe it ? or
post pics which could describe what you feel when you listen
to them ?

i know K.H. only from short tracks, that's interesting.

well.. I can't really describe what happens, but they are
nice, and.. well, you get a feeling that it is a
constantly progressing track, in a way; it doesn't get
boring (at least not to me).

I'm onto the campfire headphase now.. going through the new
acquisitions, so... I can't really draw anything based on
the music.. you'd only get BOC...

looking forward to hear this one. Hiorthøy is one my top
ten favourite artists:)
Melke and Hei is one kind of amazing work, playing with your
emotion far beyond the design world!

yeah! <3 hei! and melke too!

and hopeness and live shet... and this new one... I hope it
isn't long until the new album is done and he goes on "tour"
again... I'd like to see him live.. I got tricked out of it
at "den elleville festen" because some guy told me he was
noising it up live...

Hiorthøy is great live aswell:)

Live shet and hopeness are also nice, but are quite similar
to melke and hei i think, not as innovative...

yeah, there isn't too much variation in the TYPE of music he
does, but it's all enjoyable.. it's like Esbjørn Svensson
Trio.. their albums have much of the same type and sound,
but all albums make enjoyable listens.

check the jazz (full cds) room in soulseek. if you like it,
buy the cds, though..

(platekompaniet har ofte de eldre cd'ene i 89 hyllene, og
kanskje tilogmed 49 hyllen hvis du har flaks)

yeah, I try to keep as much of my music as possible on
cd/vinyl. however, sometimes mp3s get too tempting, but I
try to only download stuff that's hard to come by normally,
or that would cost me 500 kroner to get...

records that cost 500 kroner, downloading getting "out of
hand" or the entire thing?
