ok, so this is the classics cd I got... but there is also anothe rone, very similar but released by rs and rtd, which seems to be the one that most people have... though I dont see any diference between them listening to digeridoo now... I love this compilation, specially for polynomial of course I wish I had the vinyls of digeridoo, xilem tube... |

R&S are/were a quality label. Renaat and Sabine helped electronic music as much if not more than warp at the time. They gave aphex his first chance and soo many others. |

Distance snapped the rights when R&S went bust I think. They repressed it, and I guess that's the one you are referring to |

so most people have the german edition? cos the edition for: "Classics [1xCD - RS 95035 CD / RTD 119.3007.2]" is the one which thread was started about classics and with more than 50 replies, whilst this edition had not thread started.... this makes me think that most people in this mb have the german edition |

I'm not sure, I have Digeridoo and Xylem Tube on vinyl, but I wouldn't say you're missing out much "on vinyl", sounds pretty much the same. It's not really produced to "Dark Side of the Moon" standards. |

Oh I don't know, one of those enormous Reel to Reel tape players probably, or in a custom built studio with an on-hand hairy engineer tweaking the fucking levels, why not, that's probably the "best" anything will ever sound. |
