go . you can add things to the playlist and then click on them on the playlist to play. i just set this up using an old (PII-233) computer someone threw out that i set up under my stereo.. it is mapping my main mp3 collection via the network. if anyone wants info about the set up let me know. be nice! i'll make this private in an hour or two but meanwhile you can decide what i listen to. |

there's another app i'm configuring called ampache that is basically the same thing, only instead of my own stereo it creates shoutcast streams anyone can listen to. i'm going to use it to play my music at work. |

if you're gonna drop cash, you can buy an internet- and usb- ready stereo.. the whole appeal of this project for me was that i used a free throwaway computer and open source software that was fun to set up and tweak. i can email you instructions and you can call/email to ask any questions for free, if you're interested.. i wouldn't charge for something like this. |
