playing his songs in winamp..at least that's what it sounded
like. and most of those songs wasn't his probably..just some
junglish tunes and set didn't go anywhere..started the same
as it ended. plain boring..made me feel a bit sorry for the
guy.

Ah yes, i can understand that. I have seen three really
stellar performances this year and i have seen quite a few
most of which were boring.

i like set to grow..good timing, building up intensity and
than the last song to finsih me off. aphex is perfect at
that!

He is indeed, although this year i was more impressed with
Zan Lyons at the glade festival. I saw them both this year
at that festival. Autechre in april was really amazing too.
Squarepusher at glade was also brilliant too. All very
intense sets.

i've seen mu-ziq live twice, neither set was amazing but i
enjoyed them a lot. tbh i think he is a much much better
producer than performer

aphex was imense when i saw him i never saw someone playing
music make a person cry (not in an emotional way). the
bouncer ladie couldnt handle the noise of one track which
sounded liek a drill it was funny but i felt bad cos she had
wrapped a jumper round her head and was crying.
made me laugh cos everyone had thier finger sin thier ears
cos it was so ear piercing but they were still dancing

also i saw amon tobin before squarepushe rnot so long back
and tobin wiped the floor with pusher and tobin wa sonly
doing a dj set, was wicked seeing everyone pogo in time to
verbal

autechre were great but nothing like aphex really..it's a
totally different thing so that's ok.
the only gigs i saw this year that was close to the feeling
i get at aphex gigs were spiritual unity and throbbing
gristle.

taff, some people can't handle music too good :)

Totally different, yes. Both very good at being intense,
yes. Both good acts to see live, yes.

If you get the chance to see pusher i would take it if i
were you! don't know if you get on with his stuff though?

it was great i had spent all day in the tent waiting for
aphex and i got to see unkle (back when shadow was still
involved) and luke vibert and it was awsome. i managed to
drag my non electronica riends along they stayed for five
mins laughed at me dancing like a lunatic and then left cos
it was too loud for them lol
was blaitently the best gig ive been 2

i never really notice when theres good idm gigs or if i do i
never have anyone to go with so its pretty sucky :(
id liek to see more electronic stuff live

when i saw pusher he was god awful!
i mean i imagine itw as a one off but liek it absolutley
sucked , he spent the gig shouting at teh sound crew telling
them it wasnt loud enough when in actual fact it was hurting
my ears and he just made stupid noises on his bass for most
of it. i really dindt enjoy it at all, but id liek to give
him a second chance cos i imagine he could pull off a great
show

sounds good..the gig part that is.
as for not noticing gigs..may you're from uk aren't you? i'd
probably be out on gigs every night!!
if i don't have anyone that's willing to go along i just go
alone. and i have to travel quite a bit if i want to see
someone real good electronica wise..

skink, yeah, i would like to see pusher, although i don't
think that highly of his music as i used to..from the vids
of his live shows i saw it's more of a listening gig as
opposed to a dance gig. i definitely want to see him tho,
but he vener play in the old europe.

I dance my arse off at squarepusher. some of it though is
very hard to dance too though.

I also forgot a performance: Hexstatic was fucking amazing
at the glade too. So that is anoter recommended one too!
