well, this release deserves a thread

I think richard did in 2003 what autechre tried with draft,
but better...

I remember our dear jand saying something like this, and I
think its true

I really admire richard devine, and this work is very
good... devine is a great musicican

fav trax off of asect:dsect are of course corina chirac,
itsuko, and dansk rap. rusxfree is alright too..

dansk rap stands out above all.. if you didn't know.. the
main sample he used in that is from the gescom minidisc.
donno which track though. its fucking FUNKY and FAT though
in my opinion (dansk rap)

ive been wanting to do a video for dansk rap all about hip
hop robots breaking out of robot jail....

you can get it from bleep on vertical form label .

einoma's work may be hard to find
these days considering VERTICAL FORM
seems to have folded.. although einoma
claims to have a new album ready...

i agree, richard devine's ASECT:DSECT
is a very good album.. i always tend to
line up devine's work with RD, the ELM
conceptions/designed disorder label head.
such a good mix of rugged basslines,
twisted beats and distorted rhythms.........

this album makes my head explode and implode at the same
time lol.

seriously though, fantastic stuff. especially the beat
oriented tracks, and that really good ambient one.

gotta check out cautella.

mix in some phoenecia, intricate, gescom,
funckarma, jvox and traject and you have
a recipe for utter beat-infested beauty....

This may be a dumb question but where can I buy Richard
Divine albums online? I've never heard any of his songs but
I've heard nothing but great things.
