She's nice looking, but I'm afraid that her looks probably give her about 80% of her popularity. That and No Doubt, which I think is a bit better than her solo work. Some of her music has some nearly bearable moments, but overall it's annoying. The fact that most people likely have the inclination to press the mute button when her music videos come on is a bit disheartening. But I do at least respect how she keeps her style slightly more tasteful than most female pop stars nowadays. |
