I thought about this before as well, (and made a topic about
it I think)

then someone pointed out that all the places that have
samples have it at 33, so it must be 33

if it sounds good (to you) at 45 rpm, you should play it at
that speed. or alternate between the two. or maybe not.

Agreed, play it how you like it, that's one of the best
parts of vinyl :)

most of the analords i play at 45 with the pitch at minimum
(dont know exactly the range, maybe 6%...)

always a little bit faster :D

best thing about records is the pitching quality, analords
sounds soo lush when sped up or slowed down i can't play
them anymore on normal speed

so lush? is that an aceptable use of the word lush? it makes
it sound so uncool. shouldn't be allowed?

if you listen to some hip-hop at 45 instead of 33, you get a
new quasimoto album

The speed depends on the record I play before...
btw I've manipulated my technics so that you can pitch them
more... +- 20% I guess.

I dont think my recordplayer has more options apart from 33
or 45 speed

Try to get an old record player (~ 1960 / 70 and earlier)
they have 78 RPMs also. :P
