 | After reading reviews such as "the album Daft Punk should have released" I was pretty excited waiting for the album to
arrive. I must say though that I was dissapointed. I
expected much more, the best way I could describe the tracks
is they remind me of a cheese cracker, thin and brittle.
Don't get me wrong, I would still dance to them but at a
rave the tracks wouldn't get anyone dancing, they'd be used
to keep the people dancing during the change overs. There
was a serious lack of melody and the IDM didn't have any of
the richness or depth that a band like Autechre has, on the
 whole it's a mediocre IDM/trance album.

 | About italian artists, what do you think of Bad Sector? Woofer told me that he recommended you this great artist, I
 found his music really good.

 | Okay maybe i was a bit to harsh . I really liked "C-B-S master theme" and "Dirty Needlework" had some funkiness
about it. But on the whole I remain with my cracker
analogy. Maybe it was the fact I thought it would be like
Daft Punk that made made me expect to much, i'll listen to
it again when I get homw from work. I'm still going to be
getting his earlier stuff though, I'm interested in how the
Rome techno scene used to be like. (maybe Marco can help me
 hint)

Phobes- the melodies may be there but they're pretty well
hidden or so repetitive they might as well be rhythym(wrong
spelling I know- don't shoot me).

 | marco told me wanted to keep this album simple - back to the roots.... detroit style. "this is me naked" he told me....
that would explain the "simplicity" of the album.

and he's also currently into the minimalstic dance/detroit
genre..... and who knows? maybe he will do another style
next year...... i mean the "UFO" album is among the best
electronic music releases out there...... BASTA!

 | ok, anybody who doesn't like Sullen Look just doesn't get it. Go learn or something. Sullen Look and Recloose...good
musical parallel.. :) Cardiology is brilliant too...oh and
Herbert's Bodily Functions is on the same parallel too...
