star wars holiday special

I have downloaded this... travesty, and I'm struggling past
the 22m mark. The first 10 minutes centre almost exclusively
around Chewbacca's wife, child, and father in their bad
set-bound home, and it is excruciating to watch. I don't
know if I'll ever be able to get through the full 2 hours,
even watching 10 minutes at a time. I'd looked forward to
watching this because I heard it was so bad, but I thought
it might be cheese-bad, but it is just simply awful.

I've had the files for 4-5 years I think, and I've seen bits
of it, but never all the way through. It's just plain
rubbish.

ha ha... ah ha ha... ug Merry Christmas! *wookie purr*

If it's any consolation, I watched the beavis and butthead
christmas special recently. It was ok I suppose. I forget
where.. somethingawful.com probably, but there was an
article somewhere about christmas specials of various
unlikely shows.

Last night my mates spent twenty minutes debating
who would win in a fight between Worf and Chewy. I myself
spent ten of those minutes masturbating in the toilet.

If the mystery science theatre guys can't do anything with
it, then it's really really bad.

ooh, i just love the holiday special. got it on dvd.
and it truly is 2 hours of unwatchable rubbish.
tho there are some good parts in it, like the hologram
circus act.
scracthy, or lumpy (itchy?),.. the son! he's awesome cos he
really gets into it.
so yeah, those 2 hours should only be watched for the true
star wars fan. even though it was complete shit im proud to
have a copy of it.

Please don't tell me this is even worse than watching normal
television on a typical random channel... no... it's
that bad?? Jesus.

It's awful.

I've watched it once and I was crying.
It's worth bearing through it to see an extremely coked up
Carrie Fisher.

no no no, its worth seeing to see mark hamil after his car
accident.
or fisher singing. or lukes cheesy dialogue with mala
(chewies wife).
its worth seeing, without a doubt. but you know, if you're
not a starwars fan 10 minutes is probaly enough.
actually, the cartoon in the middle is pretty sweet. (or
maybe its only,... kinda crap, compared to the rest of the
film)

can't you just watch any of the normal Star Wars films for
that?

This is a different level of coked up. At least in the films
they tried to hide it. In this they just let her run free.
Less bouncy on the front though :(

I believe that the first appearance of Boba Fett is in the
Christmas special. That makes up for its suckyness,,,right?

like 20 minutes of Wookies making dinner. No english. No
subtitles. Just hairy pantomime.

Yes, I don't know why the makers thought anyone would
be interested in 20 minutes of wookee homemaking with the
occasional cut to Luke Skywalker 'humourously' fixing a
spaceship with R2D2. I'm gonna have to watch another 20
minutes in the next few days so I can find out how much more
exciting it gets...

Watching that thing is like eating a bowl of aids infected
cum yes.

UNKLE sampled a lot from that show , for the "Science
Fiction" album.

The radio show staring Mark Hamil is cooler.
