I know a guy who says he doesn't like music. Once we had to present a song for the english class and he was annoyed, he said that he only knew two songs : "Bloody Sunday" by U2 and another one, don't remember. I was scared. |

I was in a philosophical/science.as.myth class years ago and I asked if anyone in the class didn't listen to music or knew anyone who didn't listen/like music. 1 dude raised his hand and said he had some religious fundamentalist relative who thought music was from the devil and therefore didn't listen to it. I didn't get much more info tho, but it sounds like a shit life. |

what's the big problem? so what, some guy doesn't want to listen to music, for whatever reason he sees fit. he probably feels better because he doesn't listen to music. as long as he doesn't insist you do the same against your will, I fail to see the harm or what is supposed to be wrong about this or why that must mean he's some hatefilled godmonger. |

is there anything that cannot be hated? i remember seeing a personal webpage of someone who hated all music, but that was years ago. probably, part of the people who say they hate music just haven't found any music they liked so far... but maybe some people really do hate all music. why not? |

i have a friend who doesn't like any music except "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam, "Sex Packets" by Digital Underground, a few songs by the Spin Doctors, and Erasure. But he went to Harvard Business school. |

some years ago I was fucked up in my head (and still am, hm) and I was like "all sorts of music is boring now" ..i dunno how to explain it, but for a month I only listened to noise, like Merzbow, etc.. some people might say that noise is music too, and it is, but not in the traditional sense.. |
