ok....

listening to this album tonight...I actually think I lke the
UNMASTERED tracks better than the FINAL ones.

Tracks like:
Sit Down. Stand Up
Backdrifts
The Gloaming
I Will
A Punchup At A Wedding

are wonderful....IMO the rest of the album has some left to
be desired....

The unmastered ones just seem so much better, even though on
SOME I cannot tell a whole lot of difference....maybe it's
because I DL'd those first and listened to em more....

ANyone else listened to this album lately? Reading that the
boys are in the studio again recording made me go back and
listen again....
THOUGHTS???

CHeeRS!!!

For some reason I wish I could enjoy Radiohead.

I've been listening to it, enjoy it more than when I first
bought it. It has grown on me a lot. Might be Radioheads
best record, 10+

I love that album. We fell passionately for one another when
it was released.

I'm particularly fond of "A Punchup At A Wedding" and "A
Wolf At The Door".

well, i always heard heaps of radiohead cos my brother used
to always play it, but this was the first album i could get
into.. and from there i got into radiohead, so i guess its
good for that. but nowadays, i just think its rushed and not
very good : (

I used to prefer the unmastered ones, but I don't listen to
it all now. Not much shelf life.

Very good, but better when listened to on proper equipment.

Also, I think that the songs performed live way outshine the
one's on the album. I kind of feel like they went the
reverse route of writing first, quickly, then performing -
instead of performing a lot and then going back in to
coalesce.

All in all, they can do no wrong in my book, and the bass on
the gloaming is to die for.

well as far as i know, they tried most of the songs live a
lot before recording them. the problem is they recorded it
quickly. the album sounds unfinished.
