Some people seem to say that this album ressembles to the
Capfire Headphase. Any people here have listened to it ? It
was released on the label "Mush" (clouddhead, daedalus, boom
bip...).

bibio on discogs

Maybe this topic has already been discussed before but I
can't find that with the xlt google search :/

i wrote the only comment on it on discogs. it doesn't sound
like boc, but there is probably crossover potential for
people who like boc.

i thought it was ok - its not much like older boc - not
heard headphase so no idea - but tbh its just low tempo post
rock woth more synths that normal - gets a bit tedious

There is only one that has a synth on. Plus it's a great
album.

it comes with a little thing on the front saying how much
marcus eion from boc loves it.

i agree with him. its a good 'un.
oh, and its not low tempo post rock, nor tedious.

fair enough - I found it tedious as hell - and it does seem
like low tempo post rock to me - all dusty pretentious lofi
blah blah -

if you all like it all power to you - I just personally
don't (and btw I do own it - played it only about 3 times
and now it gathers dust :( )

or that kind of thing I much prefer dosh - he seems to
actually have some knackers when it comes to doing decent
lofi - and its lofi coz its his basement analogue setup - I
can relate to that - but I just didn't enjoy bibio :)

Dosh = crap.

I don't like that emo art-hop. Odd nosdam is as far as it
goes for me, only because he can keep things 'fresh'.

maybe you should listen to it again. if you thought you
heard synths and were wrong, maybe you were wrong about it
being tedious. to each their own, though.

i wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, but i have to admit i
found it spectacular in the morning and a little bland in
the late evening.

i dont get wood for dosh m8 - i just said for this kind of
thing i prefer dosh - its much more bearable for me
personally - i can see what you mean about emo hop though -
i still quite like it though
