I'm feeling in the next months we'll have a new album by
afx on rephlex records and it will be a serious thing with a
lot of experimentation and a lot of acid, in the style of 2
remix by afx and baby ford rmx.

Remember this topic because I feel it... I feel it...

I hope so. this album will be the real selection of his best
tracks he made in the last few years.

The question is tho - on Rephlex or MEN (whatever it really
is/will be called?) ..

offline korben dallas from nz on 2002-02-25 08:20 [#00100567]

well maybe not ..

but i think whatever it will be - it will be a lot more
"experimental" - then again, i don't want to rely on
expectation to much ..

This is a good question... it'd possible a release on MEN,
too.. blah, I'd prefer on the mythical REPHLEX.

Letter to Richard D. James

Dear Richard, how are you? I'm fine.

I have a request for you: Why don't you release something
new? You have to understand that we waited enough time, now

we would like to see something new.

I know that your hard-disk is full of new stuff, now me and

all your fans want a real new album with 10, 11 and more
songs; we'd like happy if you will release a double cd like

was SAW II.

Richard I want an innovative real album, like ICBYD or RDJ
Album.
Windowlicker was great but it has only 3 tracks...

I'm curious to listen the evolution of your sound and style,

I want to see where you can arrive.

Richard stop on minute to drive your tank and amaze the word

with your music.

Thanks for your attention.

Sincerely,

WooÆ’erAttack

thought I was mad...)

Lets keep our fingers crossed...

I think you might be right...

Some new stuff on MEN would be the coolest (MEN is a
sub-label of REPHLEX so I don't care what label it's on)...

Im kinda tired of that aCiD stuff at the moment (listening
to BOC), but hey if its made good u cant front.

I liked the acid type stuff on Drukqs more than those two
remixes. I mean Cockver10 shitted on those.

i liked those 2 remixes, but not that much...

i agree w/ archrival: i like the acid tracks on drukqs much
more..

i need voices, i need the primitve acid rhythms with noize,
more the old things, simple, and voices, much voices, words,
and scratches like "Baby Ford - Normal (Helston Flora Mix By
AFX)" one of the craziest track i've ever heard! the
timestrectched 303 acid noise, that's AFX!

I wrote that post on 13 June 2001, after about two weeks
came out the news of another new aphex's album... I was very
lucky... or I had a premonition... but I hadn't read on
joyrex mb ;D
