Yeah, *that* Chris Martin is a sorry ass, but the Kinski's Chris Martin's the man, man!
And sings quite good, too.

I despise the way he stopped swearing at concerts because his dad attended one and said "please don't swear when there are kids in the crowd next time please Chris"

I think his voice isn't particularly bad, it's just the music overall is just bland sounding. Thom Yorke sings in an even more whiney, high-pitched voice, but Radiohead's music is a helluva lot more interesting in my opinion.

I mean, most of it is more interesting, that is. There's some Radiohead songs that rival Coldplay's blandness... But their compositions aren't usually as godawfully 'obvious' and watered-down-8th-grade-slowdance sounding.

Thom is a much better singer and often does things with his voice that Chris Martin could never. Martin just does that annoying falsetto 'oooo' thing constantly. He aught to join the Goo Goo Dolls or something, or be the founding father of Post-Emo.

i hate his whiney voice, especially when he goes for the high notes. coldplay's music is painfully bland, corny, overrated and overplayed.
