WOW!!! Me and my friends havent lisent 2 the tracks, becose we wanted to do that first when we where really stoned, so last night we lisend to the album and damn we where so stoned that we allmost taped out! (btw I cant understand why not everybody smoke weed from waterpipe is sooo amazing and u get sooo stoned) Anyway by far one of the best days in my life, and the music....well I can say for sure that I never hourd something so beutyfull as this, total harmony, for sure the best album from Boards of canada! sure its not totaly fucked up...or at least that what they want ouz to belive but alot of hidden messiges here and dark-undertones for sure! |

I agree with you (about being stoned and listening to music.) Making music, though, is a completely different matter. There's nothing worse then comming back to a track the next day and realizing how crap it is. ;-) I don't smoke anymore, and don't intend to again, though... So what do you like about the new BoC album? What does it sound like? :-) |

Yeah we had the best time ever yesterday Free Your mind! That session was definitly the SHIT!!!!! The best music experience ever! Beautiful, beautiful album! easily Boards most beautiful and most melodic album so far..in other words the most commerical boc album imo. If u dig beautiful melodic stuff u will love this album...its jus a very HARMONIC album, very soothing., not as dark as mhtrtc and geogaddi. |

I dont think smoking affects your skills that much when music making, maybe youre a bit more adverse to noodling about and jamming, but I never wake up the next day disappointed - well no more than normal anyway. Maybe Ive never been that wrecked before. Plus Plaid and Vibert are self-confessed chain smokers of the herb and their music fucking rocks. |

I guess it wouldn't be very inventive if I said: Remove the second "the" from the topic and you may come closer to the truth, so I won't say it. But it's pretty much what I think about this album. Maybe you all like IDM so much because you haven't heard Santana yet, check him out. |

The best thing about the Campfire Headphase is that it has the mood of a bright blue summers day, with all the light synths, snappy live drums and acoustic riffs whereas MHTRTC sounded cold and spring-wintery and Geogaddi sounded late summer-autumnal. An album for every season of the year. |

that could also be due to the colours used in the packaging of each release, which arguably fit your discriptions. personally i think it sounds rather bland so far, with uninspired chord choices. the production is nice though. |

I love noodling and jamming. Nothing like a bit of jazz (well, my attempt at jazz) at 3am. ;-) It's probably the more complex, beat-driven stuff that doesn't sound so good the next day... |

well, i guess i got completely duped. all but two of the songs i got on-line are fakes. so someone is either recording under BoC's name or BoC is playing some dirty tricks. oh well, the songs that i have are pretty fucking good, cant wait to buy the legit one. |
