Haven't you asked this before?
There's lots of kinds of "brightness". Some people are amazing at maths and science, for example, but have the imagination of a rock. And the reverse exists, and everything in between.
You're probably bright in one area. Find it, love it, and be very happy.

what about if you have a great deal of common sense but just have a tough time retaining things you've learned that your brain subconsciously discards as it knows you will never need to know them after you have done the exams?
For example I can't remember for the life of me what year the Armada began, or when Elizabeth I came to the throne or what the first act Parliament passed under her reign was. I'm gonna fail history so badly...
*sigh* I always feel glum in your threads. Credit to you.

Stop worrying! I don't remember anything from history either right now (apart from the interesting bits). It always ends up fine. And even if it doesn't, it helps if you believe it will.

Yeah, that's the trouble. I would love to delve into some aspects of what I'm doing, but because of the pressure and all the extra stuff you have to learn, you can never enjoy what you're studying as much as you'd like. I'm not whining, it's better then nothing...But I know that I'll return to a lot of this stuff when I'm older with a new outlook and without that pressure.

emo kids are the 00's what goth kids were to the 90's
they all have daddy issues
i think if youre stupid you'll most likely be easily amused and therefore quite a bit happier with life in general

what's with emo kids anyway?. i mean it wouldn't be such a big deal if people like you ignored them instead of trying to put all the atention possible to them. what's that? envy? because, you know you'd be an emo kid if you were some years younger?
