I've only had one serious girlfriend and I was 16 at the time. I feel really pathetic saying that, but I'm pretty much a shy recluse and bring it on myself. I would assume that I, or anyone else here, could find a girlfriend if they really wanted too, but they need to compromise on certain aspects, especially when it comes to aspects that you are flawed in yourself. I guess people in such a situation are afraid of rejection, but if you live in a big enough town/city you can reveal your feelings to ladies and never see them again if you don't want to.. you just have to build up a large 'callus' on your heart so to speak, and/or be drunk enough where you don't remember what you said the next day anyway. Either way, rejection is probably less painful than the feeling of not even trying. ( /end loserdom) |
