you're not quitting. if you ever loved it, you'll want to get back to it one day. and if it turns out i'm wrong, i'll say now that you absolutely shouldn't quit. it's a mistake. if you're frustrated, take a break for a while. you'll almost definitely find that as time goes on, you'll want to get back into it. |

as usual, this track is excellent. love the guitars and the old textures, with the drum sounds that sound like rickety creakings in a haunted house. you always had a way with atmosphere. loving the scratch-like sounds i'm hearing also. if you quit music, don't worry. if your heart was ever truly in it, you will be back. the fact that you are posting such a message, letting us know that you're quitting, shows a resistance to quitting that you are having, because you obviously don't want to forget all about your music, because you want others to remember. god, that was glib. i must be rambling. |

Right. I'm not saying that like "Get a fucking job" but, you know, in my experience having a job, even jobs that made me want to slit my fucking wrists, gives you something to work against. My worst times were at home, unemployed, drinking "fortified wine" and going crazy, I mean, this is more me than you... well it's different if you're incapacitated, though I was signed off for a while as well after going mental, but ummmmm.... Pardon me if i have been dramatic. I had kind of reached the same conclusion. I need to work very hard at getting through this and i want to study and really learn everything. Then i am going to leave this cessit of country and try my luck somewhere elese. I feel so hemmed in and impotent. I really need to grab life by the ears and spunk in it's mouth, there is nothing sexier to me than being control. Thankyou for the very kind words. |

I quit music once, too, and I stayed quit. I still have my guitarr and all the gearr. Sometimes I pick it up, but now my ability to play has deterriorrated so much I just tend not to botherr. Oh well, I'm rregrretful about the whole thing though. |
