...how do you resize pictures for printing them?

i'm still stuck in this awkwardly ridiculous situation where
i can't print pictures the size i want. there must be some
freeware utility for that but i can't find it : /

please?

not sure if I understand your question, but if you
clickthis there might be something that will do
what you ask of

i know versiontracker but i couldn't find anything : /
(i'm really just needing a simple thing though...)

i have photoshop but only for mac os 9... and the size i
define with photoshop on mac os 9 is not respected when
printing with any app i use under mac os X.

I haven't tried it, but doesn't iPhoto let you resize pics
to some degree? GraphicConverter is the app i'm using for
basic resize tasks. It's not free, but if you can bother to
wait through the countdown at startup it will work

Isn't mac supposed to make everything easy at the touch of a
button? Why do I always hear mac users asking questions
about things that would be basic and simple on PC's?

well yeah, they fucked up on this point.
(i had no problem with this when i was still using my old
printer though, because it had drivers for mac os 9...)

i use macs mainly because i'm really used to them and not at
all to pcs, but i actually couldn't tell which one is
better.

Don't get me wrong. I am way past hating on macs, its all
user preferance. But its still kinda funny :S
