ah right. something about the slow pulse of the pad-like
chords, set against the repeating pairs of the overlaying
harmony, makes me quite emotional.

It's quite ok. It's not a good record, and I kind of have
that attitude where it wouldn't matter if I hadn't bought
it, but I listen to it from time to time and I find it
moderately enjoyable.

I'm listening to it now. It goes well with wine. Wine makes
it above moderately enjoyable. I really wish they'd gone the
other way, though. Even with wine.

I appreciate that the melodic elements were more complex and
that they were able to be much less repetitive on this
record. It definetly had some good things going for it.
That being said I don't think the production value was near
as interesting as the previous albums. I understand they
were trying to do something a little more stripped back, I
just prefer more heady atmospheres.
