ok just use a wave editor and as it streams record the wave
output of your computer. You can even do it with
soundrecorder which is in every windows from 95 onwards!

save it as a .wav and there you go. I managed to get it
setup so that the recording was done so that the peak was
-1dBFS.
that means a vanishingly small loss of quality. (Don't
forget the source was not great anyway, and there is no way
to invent quality from a digitally compressed recording)

Leave it as a .wav file and there you go. So its bigger than
an MP3, so what, hard disks are massive.

Can you put .wavs on an ipod? who cares, bust out a walkman
you cybotron.

just download beno's file. zero loss of quality.
i captured the stream using hi-download and it came out as
an asf file too. direct stream capture means no re-rendering
and no loss of quality.

it sounds similar cause they're both remixes of the same
track.

It is interesting, why this remix now, after the Analords
which sound like Aphex but at the same time don't, this is a
reminder of the Aphex sound, I am thinking more of the
spooky signature Twin ambience that crops up in this, much
like it does at the end of Mangle 11, as if... you know, RDJ
reminds us he's still there, knocking at the edge of reality
like some Elder God, ... saying "I could blow you all out of
the fucking water, only I choose not to", or words to that
effect.

Either way, release a fucking proper album Dickie, cheers!

Nice link!
Now I would like to hear a mp3 vbr 192-320 as well.

The rapidshare file is down again, is there someone who want
to upload it to yousendit?

Have you seen there's a link to download a 192 version as
well as stream on the site now? Is this OLD news? Thus
putting an end to this talk about compression algorithims
wav mp3 oog etc which probably was boring Dickie to tears
when we should have been discussing the actual track and the
implications for future re-remixes and, my dream, Didgeridoo
06 Remix.
