I'm currently listening to autechres live london gig at
se-1 and i fucking love it!

Love the ways its one 1.15 minutes long tack with deep base
and pounding drilled beats.. made up from the untilted
tracks.

my god.

i wasn't too impressed. i think i need a soundboard
recording to listen to this sort of music. bad sound
quality ruins it for me...

you should have been there! totally awesome.

i was there and have a couple great recordings. it helped me
appreciate Untilted more, for the more groove-oriented
sections that don't quite freak out as obviously.

it was fun as hell to dance to, although some IDM nerds were
flailing about like idiots.

as usual i don't mind crappy recordings and the one on
gigingers is good enough for me. Its defintiely gotten me a
lot into untilted and i love the hardcore ending to this
set... well harsh

he's exaggerating - they love it inside the woofer so they
would never leave.

grant from rephlex actually does come out of the tweeter
though. the left one, usually.

I saw Ae in Chicago and was severely disappointed. Maybe it
was my own fault for hyping them up so much prior to the
show, but damn -- they blew it big time. I went with about
six other people who varied from being very new to Ae to
very experienced, and not one of them liked it. All you
could hear was the bass -- I'm not exaggerating. It was too
repetitive and straightforward. No melody whatsoever as far
as I can tell. I know autechre isn't known for their
melodies, but this was just too dry.

So I always wondered -- was the material shit, or was it
just the setup? Did a sound guy fuck something up? A sound
board of that show would answer my question, if one exists.
Am I using that term correctly.. sound board?

I have a sound board recording of a show in Glasgow that I
got from slsk. I don't know if it's the silly thing that
gl0tch is so worked up about, seeing as it was being shared
freely, but I can yousendit or slsk it later (bit busy at
the moment) if anyone is interested.

i also saw them in Chicago and thought it sounded great. i
was down on the floor pretty close to the stage, so the bass
probably didn't have as much distance to carry and boom.
where you more toward the back or upstairs?

I saw them in detroit, and chicago the next night
detroit went 90minutes it was long and great.
here is an example of one of the mega wicked phat beat cl... my fav ,,, right before pro radii slams in
(BRAAAAAAAAAAAAKE)!

there was a lot of bass and a lot of highs; that's how it
was supposed to sound, so no ... the chicago sound guy
didnt' fuk up. i dunno how you didn't enjoy yourself. it
wasn't a "sit around and get lost in melodies ... chin
scratching show" it was a straight up mosh style get in get
it bangin' show.

if you thought they were only going to play melody stuff
than maybe they would have had chairs setup so everyone can
sit down and listen ... awwwwwwwwwwwwww :-*

but they did have melodies .. it was just hard to hear.
too bad you missed them

wow, it was being shared on slsk? I imagine *someone* from
the "Special Helpers" Crew gone done slipped and didnt
practice all the respect and honor system stuff they were
throwing down our throats for a week. Go figure.

yeah, you should share it. As a matter of fact, you should
do both.
