being nice to people is kind of enough really... at least
these days

he normally posts to advertise the shows he does and so, so
he is informative in some way

I'd like, just as an experiment, to rile him to the point
where he did lash out and say "You know what, fuck you" or
something worse, instead of that beatific "It's all about
the music" mantra, which just grates.

"Dig the music, kids" is a reference to
a sample Meat Beat Manifesto used on
the album 'Satyricon' called "Euthanasia."
Some of you should check it out...

Those of you who have met me and/or
interacted with me will know that i rarely
post off-topic, anywhere. It will always be
electronic music related to some extent,
whether it's promoting a show, our show,
your show or what have you --if it's in
a forum of electronic music content.

Sometimes i actually wonder why i even
post to XLT and/or WATMM when most
of the time people aren't even talking
about electronic music.

There's no hidden agenda here except to
promote quality electronic music.

Those of you in the So-Cal area near
Irvine should drop by KUCI sometime..
show your face, introduce yourself.. come
to one of our hosted live performances.

That's it for now,

P.

dude, pietrobot, i know you know you're shit cuz you're a dj
@ kuci and the reason you rarely post off topic except for
instances like this is because you go to school in oc and
the reason you wonder why you post is because this is a
community and yes while we all agree (90% of the time) on
(most of) the music we prefer to listen too we also like to
discuss other current events outside of the "IDM"
scene. your shows are so great (trendy in so cal now
obviously) yet you get to stay underground and maintain your
street cred for all the kids YES KIDS, by being a member
which you are not even a 1337. keep promoting and when you
get hired on at kroq please don't bother telling me, now if
ya get a show on xm then that'll be some shit! lolX0rz!?1

anywayz > i agree with Bill Burroughs and i <3 kuci! next
time i'm in cali you can bet i will cruise over to chill
with ya homie! i'll hit you up when i set something down.
:D!!

Evol, i'm not sure where you got your information,
but i do not go to school in OC. We simply broadcast
from the University of Irvine at KUCI, we're not
students there.

Our show isn't, as you put it, "trendy in so cal now
obviously." We've been on the air for over 3-years
just playing the music we dig. Call it whatever you
will, but it's not in the "trendy" category.

Mark my words, we'll NEVER work for KROQ, are
you kidding me? You sure do have a sense of humor,
that's for sure.

Do keep in touch, though, if you come to KUCI..

Pietro.

oh shit well in that case throw everything i said out the
window. how'd you get a show on KUCI anyway? i'd imagine
that would be rather difficult to say the least.
considering it's... KUCI and everything. yeah was under the
false impression that you only had access to the airwaves if
you were a student at anytime or a member of faculty. i
would say your show is doing pretty damn good if you've been
on the air for 3 years now. just wait in another three
you'll start to peak then in another three you'll plateu
then three years after that you'll start to fade and three
years after that you'll completely change formats. whatever
happened to suburban rythym? why did ed and scott quit?
would you please drop some bass on that shit?! what's your
schedule there?

Pietro & Francesca are awesome folks, and quite a combo for
"electronic music", constantly promoting, talking about and
playing the music they love. They're at that station every
friday night doing their thing which I think is pretty cool
in my book.

I think there's a lot of people who pay attention to these
boards but often don't feel like posting about unrelated
topics.

what a bunch of whiney dick-sucking fuck-faces in this
thread.

Who the fuck cares if he doesn't hang around here to discuss
your fucking mega-obscure music that no one else listens
to.

Jivverdicker, you're just jealous because you've never been
invited to do a show and gee i wonder why? Maybe because
your last album only had 5 songs with decent melodies and
textures. Lets face it, your beats suck.

To everyone else who complained: Get a life.
