So i am going to make myself a website of sorts. So where
is a good place with a fairly descent amount of space
available? Also where is a good place where i can learn how
to do some things so it dosen't look crap?

Thanks!

I don't know about hosting, but if you need html help, I
could probably help you out a bit...

if you want a proper ftp etc with the freedom to do what you
want then you need to buy a cheap hosting plan.

ask yourself, are you prepared to pay something like $3.95 a
month? of course you are.

there's one. i'm sure it'll do

try Dreamhost i have heard very good things about them
and they offer a lot of webspace etc. for very good value.
apparantly iy goes up every month too for free!

id also have a look at zeldman.com or cssbeauty.com for some
ideas then look for some css tutorials.

that isn't a frame. frames are outdated and obsolete.

that's an include inside a div with overflow: scroll. if
people follow the standards the world will be a better
place.

I use streamline.net and I've had no problems there.

As for learning HTML. All I've done is look around at
various sites and looked how they did certain things. I'm by
no means good at it but it's helped and I've been able to
put some sort of site together which doesn't look too
horrible. Could look better admittedly.
