Neither, its been 2 days and I got dumped for smoking occasional Weed... It hurts but at the same time it was meant to be and I had a GREAT time being his girlfriend but right now my wings are free to do whatever and not have to think about a guy just myself...So single & Loving it? or just Single and Dealing with it? Either way I'm happy about our break-up. It was a good one... And Venting is gone for now. |

Got dumped, she was the love of my life (I've seen many woman, I knew it was her, I waited 15 years for somebody like her). Its for a stupid reason, I was 25 she was 19, she wasn't ready for a serious relation, she needed to fuck young man basically before being stable, ya know. Broke my heart in a thousand pieces. Got into severe depression for 6 months and was diagnosed with "Generalized Anxiety Distorder" after she dumped me. That was 6 months ago. Do the maths. :-S I'm still down there, down in the fucking canyon at the bottom. |

if he dumped you for something as stupid as smoking weed, he probably felt there were deeper problems with the relationship; problems manifest in strange ways. if you truly love somebody, you do not dump them over stupid crap like this regardless of difference of opinion unless there's some pretty major fucking betrayal at hand. sounds like the relationship from his side was bullshite anyway, you're probably much better off. |

That's not the only thing... basically she dumped me on my birthday, and the next day our school system went in strike for a month, I was stuck inside my house while it was -30 outside.. and all the small group of friends I had decided to also dump me there just at that moment (didnt return my phone calls) and didnt offer any support. So that put me more down, now not only did I loose the love of my life, I also lost all my friends (already being without a family). Worse thing is that she still loves me like crazy, she's just "not ready" for a stable relation. Meanwhile she's fucking some little teenager a decade younger than me and I've lost everything and got to start everything again at zero. Like that song... "Everybody's got to learn sometime" But 'tis okay, Im alive. Could be worse. |

you've nailed the problem; she's still trying to work out who the fuck she is, and people do stupid things to do that; things that hurt, things that they regret, but nevertheless one grows from it. i just hope you're still not attached, because you're going to destroy yourself in the process watching. by the time she might be ready, you won't be. life's about learning. i tend to find the most adjusted, interesting, and well learnt people are those who have been though a number of bad/good experiences in their life (relationships, travelling, etc). such experiences fucking hurt, and it's almost most certainly completely unjustified, but you've probably learnt a great deal more than you realise. |

wasn't so much dumped by my ex as nearly stabbed with a scissors! It was a messed up relationship anyway with her being a self-absorbed intollerant pyscho who seemed more interested in doing acid, pills and weed on her own than repecting me. She never even wanted to share these things. Its 2 months later and im feeling better every day. H?atre being single though....i operate better in partnership. |

after my ex and i broke up she crossed the road and starting fucking around with women, including her sister :-/ i don't think she told me this to spite me because she's a lovely girl and i doubt she'd do that. it was actually kind of a turn on, except for the idea that i might have driven her to lesbianism. it's hard thing to live down, i still get mocked by my friends about it :) i've been single too long now, i wouldn't mind settling down again. |

Hope you arent too down or bothered. I got rid of my last one because of various things. I regretted it days later. I talked with her to smooth things out. I pretty much told her that i was either going to steal her from her boyfriend or that it wasnt going to work and i would be there to show her how "real men treat ladies" (omg wtf/lol) Anyways i was dead right. I took her out last night and we talked over some chinese. It was alright. I dont know what i think frankly. I dont really care. I am going back to school and just living life and enjoying it to the fullest. Meet people and have fun and listen to as much punk/metal as possible. Single is great because you are constantly your own person. You never have to "settle for less" or change things to suit others. In relationships (the ones that work) you have to sacrifice all the time. Not necessarly all the time but people need to humble themselves to the significant other for a connection to hold strong. Whatever you do (i dont know you that well but just friendly advice) dont whore yourself out. I can spot those kinds of girls miles away. The ones who just got single and fuck like they are going to die tomorrow. No guy respects a girl like that and it will result in many bad things.
