real fan should really go beyond simple explanations in style of "i want this" and "i need that". steve reich is a composer that released a mighty zylions of cd's, but only because his compositions are recorded / played again and again, which makes them more valuable coz every time they sound different.thats one obvious reason for beeing his fan as you obviously have the choice of deciding which version of which work you like the best. at the same point one should understand that beeing a true fan doesnt mean that you need to go and find everything that your music god releases - and maybe thats the reason of beeing a fan of specific musician at all. not knowing of some strange releases,promos. anticipation of every little things you hear on the net while youre not sure if its true or not. at least its the point of discussion. imagine everyone having everything. thats would have been boring, wouldnt it ? what would be there to talk about ? |

i started this thread, and it was not supposed to be a discussion at all. i'm not a collecter, and the reason i wanted this recoring was because i really dig the liveset, even more then the album, and the recorings i already had was shitty stuff with audience (elusive) yelling and youknowwhat and craps. so, have a muffin. |

hahaha, it's been said so many fucking times now it doesn't need fucking repeating. People were asked not to share it and that's what they're doing. There's no fucking elitist side to it. We're just honouring a friends wishes. Having reiterated this so many fucking times though, even if they were to say "share it" I wouldn't on fucking principle. |

It was accidentally played. dog_belch was going to change the tag to some random name and people wouldn't have known any different. He was drunk and forgot to change the tag before it came on. It came on while he'd just popped off to do something so he couldn't change it quick enough for people to not notice the name. The only reason some people mentioned having it is because of a couple of people having hissy fits. I can see your argument about it not being shared I really can but at the moment it's not going to happen. |
