I just found out a friend had put vocals on some older
stuff of mine. I think it kind of fits the mood of the song
and thought it just as well to spam it. I've been
considering redoing parts of the tune, as it wasn't
originally made with vocals, so there's probably something
to be done. It was all apparently recorded with a mic
attached to a screen, but I feel the sound fit the first one
at least.. the second one she told me herself she wants to
redo, mostly because of her pronounciation, but there's also
some noise.

(the voices at the start of rise n fall are her and her
boyfriend who also is a friend of mine)

Rise N Fall
Su-un

*listening* were these the original titles of the tracks?

no, the original titles are respectively Barking up the wrong tree and still making sense
(she's sped it up a bit.. don't know why) and Inside/Lilla

they sound really nice, especially rise n fall. it would
sound really nice if there were a few more breaks in the
vocals, for example where the whole texture changes at 2:25.

thanks! yeah, that's what I'd do if I redid the song to fit
the vocals more.

the vocal is a bit too quiet in places on rise n fall. nice
though, reminiscent of the likes of portishead or dubstar.

same about the second track. all it needs is a lush trip-hop
break to finish it.

thanks!

well, I don't think I could put in a regular drumline in
su-un.. but the other one is quite possibly a candidate for
that. let's hope that HD still works...
